Coldwater Challenge 2014! Apparently, you can either jump into the water or donate $100 to Charity! I don't need to tell you that my idea of swimming is in the bathtub or warm water in the extreme heat of the summer. The idea of submerging into frigid water as I watched these challenges unfold seemed anything but a good idea! In fact, I just kept hoping for a low profile and that I would be ignored! NO SUCH LUCK!

I was called out for the Coldwater Challenge on April 28th, 2014 by Tom Hawkins. The timing could not have been any more perfect as we headed to our first closing under Living In Lenawee Realty! Tom is the President of Living Water Mission, a 501c3 that helps people in Kenya with clean drinking water as well as feeding 50 orphans every day. Living Water Mission is planning to place a large community well in Kilamani, Kenya in 2015. We are blessed by clean drinking water in Lenawee County, and we are more than happy to give back to $100 of our first closing commission!

With this donation, we have decided to give $100 from each closing to a non-profit organization! It is the little bit of giving by each of us that makes Lenawee County a great place to Live - Work - and Raise a Family!

God Bless!!
Janis & Ed Montalvo

<img rel="prettyPhoto[blog1149]" style="max-width: 100%;" src="https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/t1.0-9/10258327_702196023154842_676354320434580319_n.jpg" align="bottom"
